TO,
THE SUPERINTENDENT OF POST OFFICES,
GUNTUR Division , GUNTUR 522007.
Sub:- CSI end user training at Tenali – Deputation
from Guntur divn:
Sir,
It is
learnt that six of our staff members from various offices are being deputed to Tenali
division from 06-02-2017 to 11-03-2017, not to get them trained but to
facilitate the training of officials of Tenali division.
You
are well aware that our division is burdened with heavy shortage of staff as
many as 40 vacancies exist as on date for various reasons. It is simply not
possible to run the offices if these deputations are acted upon and the public
services are found to suffer. This inevitably causes unending staff problems
and serious public complaints.
There
were several occasions in the past, either it be CBS implementation or PLI
MCmish Programme and for that matter or any other point of time during the
modernisation process, our staff members stood for the test and could
successfully launch these programmes with out any external help. This being the
case, it is strange that the services of other units are sought without paying
any heed to the prevailing staff situation.
NFPE
Unions strongly protests this sort of unreasonable , inconsiderate and
indifferent attitude of the administration in deputing staff members of our
division to Tenali. It is beyond one’s comprehension as to how such matters of
utmost importance are planned in such a manner without giving any thought for
the problems of the employees and the public members at large.
Our
unions stands united with the administration in all activities including
business development , technology up gradation. We expect such reciprocation
from the administration as well, in addressing the problems of the staff
members.
The SPO’s
Tenali has every other option open for him to conduct the training programme
well with in his means, as is being done every other occasion in all other
units. After all every unit has its own problems and has its own set goals.
There is no point to complicate things further.
May
we therefore request you to take up the issue with the higher authorities while
highlighting the staff problems \ public inconvenience \ union’s unrest and to
drop the proposal of deputations to Tenali forthwith.
Warm
regards, Yours
sincerely,
